Marcos Sanchez is a Musician, Producer, Arranger, and Composer with a love for audio engineering (Tracking, Mixing).  Born into a Puerto Rican church family in New Haven, CT. Marcos, the son of a Pentecostal minister, was surrounded by musical expression in one of its purest and most jubilant forms since birth. He quickly gravitated toward musical ministry at three years old, playing the drums, and by five he started playing the piano. By the time he reached middle school, he was already a multi-instrumentalist playing the guitar, bass, trumpet, and saxophone with a significant role in the music ministry and a strong appetite for learning.
Marcos supplemented his playing in church with music classes in the local middle school and playing in local salsa bands. Through this, he gained the attention of teachers and professionals in the area that took him under their musical tutelage or made efforts for him to get a more formal education through The Neighborhood Music School, Litchfield Jazz Camp or the prestigious Eastman School of Music summer conservatory.  All these experiences allowed Marcos to develop a strong foundation in performance and understanding of music theory that would serve him well as the world of arranging, composing and music production began to take over his path toward performance.
After graduating high school and spending some time arranging and performing in the Hartford, CT area, Marcos transitioned to Puerto Rico to begin forging his path.  Over the years he has worked as a producer, pianist and arranger for many artists in the Latin music scene including Kany Garcia, Alejandro Sanz, Victor Manuelle, Christian Pagán, Jenny Roca, Divino, Favela, Abraham, Samuel Hernandez, NG2, and others. He also produced music for TV Shows such as Idol Puerto Rico (2012, 2013), Idol Kids Puerto Rico (2012, 2013 Wapa TV) and Yo Canto (2011 Telemundo PR TV Network).  A proud moment in Marcos' career is serving as Pianist/Keyboardist for Luis Fonsi "Palabras Del Silencio World Tour" 2009-2011.
As a student of music, Marcos has a voracious appetite for learning. Even after receiving 6 Latin Grammy nominations, Marcos enrolled in Full Sail University's Music Production bachelor program and graduated in September 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Music Production.
Marcos has made an impact on the Latin American music scene and is looking to continue to learn and grow. He is currently Musical Director for singer-songwriter Kany García, having toured the world with her and serving as lead producer for her last studio album which gave him a opportunity to win his first Latin Grammy. He is also exploring and writing music for film, advertisement, and video games.  Stay tuned for more to come.
